Summit at P.Chigi, tightening of controls on databases - Last hour. The "problems relating to illicit access to public computer databases, also in light of recent dossier events" were addressed in a meeting at Palazzo Chigi.
"Administrative and organizational paths have been identified to make the control system more stringent, with adequate alerts aimed at preventing abuse and periodic checks", we read in a note. The meeting was attended by the undersecretary Alfredo Mantovano and the governor of Bank of Italy Fabio Panetta.
