In the first months of 2024 there will already be 500 minors detained, a dramatically'record' number in the last decade. "The extension of the possibilities of applying accompaniment following flagrant crimes and precautionary custody in prison overturns the structure of the 1988 juvenile criminal procedure code", says Antig one. "At the beginning of 2024, there are approximately 500 inmates in Italian juvenile prisons. A similar figure has not been reached for over ten years"
