Verdini was serving his final 6-year sentence for the collapse of the Credito Cooperativo Fiorentino in the Pian dei Giullari villa. He is accused of participating in three dinners in restaurants in the capital, while he was serving a sentence for a corruption case in which he was found guilty of two counts of fraud.
