Swimming arrivals of minor migrants in Ceuta increased by 550%. Most of those who manage to round the border cliffs of Tarajal and Benzu are between 16 and 17 years old and are largely male.

Only two of the 288 teenagers who swam there are women. The government of Ceuta, led by the Popular Party, reports the overcrowding of the reception facility for protected minors. He therefore calls for urgent intervention from the Spanish State to be able to redistribute minor migrants to other regions of the Iberian peninsula.
