The structures of the former Montalto di Castro nuclear power plant will have to be demolished. The Lazio Regional Administrative Court decided this with a ruling in which it rejected an appeal brought in 2018 by Enel Produzione Spa.
Enel, together with the Municipality, will. have to "provide mutual loyal cooperation" in carrying out the demolition order and. implementing the urban and building recovery of the district. The decision was made by the Lazio regional Administrative Court on Wednesday.
