Lovage is a plant that grows up to two meters high in the garden. The leaves flavor soups as well as cottage cheese.

Homemade lovage salt is a healthier alternative to the finished product. It is easy to make and you only need two to three ingredients: 30 g of dried lovage, 300 g of coarse or fine sea salt and a spice like pepper. The salt can be stored in a sealed jar for at least a year and the leaves can still be used for seasoning.
