The Mattei Plan for Africa is among the 15 projects selected by the European Commission to support Italy in reforms through the EU Technical Support Instrument. The Plan "is absolutely strategic on the energy front not only for Italy but also for Europe", the director general of the EU's DGReform, Mario Nava, told ANSA on the sidelines of the presentation of the 170 projects chosen by Brussels to support reforms of the 27 governments.
