The specialist also extols the merits of “flow” in psychology – flow in French – a mental state in which a person is “fully engaged in the task at hand”. He recommends drinking three to four cups of coffee per day, as it has many benefits, such as reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. It has been associated with an 18% risk of accidental cancer, though, he says. The expert also recommends eating a balanced diet, including plenty of vegetables and fruit, in the morning, as this can improve mental health. He also recommends a healthy diet of fish, chicken, eggs, vegetables and fresh vegetables, as well as plenty of fresh fruit.
