Argentine Israelite Mutual Association (AMIA) celebrates 130 years in the country this Sunday. The entity was founded on February 11, 1894 by a group of immigrants of Jewish origin.

It is the largest entity in the Argentine Jewish community and one of the most important organizations. AMIA was also the generating matrix of initiatives such as the Central Council of Jewish Education, the Federation of Jewish Communities of Argentina and the Tzedaká Foundation. The AMIA aims to be an example of resilience, a sign that we can move forward, without forgetting those who are no longer here.
