The cartoonist Alfredo Castelli, the father of Martin Mystère, has died. "He left us a master of comics" states Lucca comics & games expressing condolences for the passing of Castelli.
Among the greatest comics writers in the world, Castelli was also the founder of fanzines and magazines, as well as a comics historian. He was the creator of humorous characters such as 'Skeletrino' and 'L'Omino Bufo', which he also designed, which was one of the first examples of the simplified trait in Italian comics.
