The German finally says goodbye to the'spagetti' - last hour. "Spagetti" without "h" disappears from German spelling.
It is one of the innovations contained in the list of new words drawn up by the Council for German Spelling (Rat für deutsche Rechtschreibung), now also ratified by the provincial government of Bolzano. The only correct term, even in German, as in Italian, it is'spaghetti', says South Tyrolean president Arno Kompatscher.
