The Government ran out of an anti-HIV medication and started using another one that has two problems. They say that it is because the demand for this medication increased a lot and the purchase calculation was made incorrectly.

These are two drugs in a single blister, which were replaced separately or by a single pill that has three drugs. They claim that this can cause less adherence to treatments and greater adverse effects. The previous Government, at least since 2022, purchased it to deliver it free of charge to patients, as guaranteed by law.
