The historic factory in the heart of the city will be removed, a new residential neighborhood will be built with 1,400 apartments - voila! Real estate. The plan is led by the Municipality of Lod, the Lod Economic Company and in cooperation with the Marathon Fund, which purchased the Dalkol plant in June 2021 for NIS 125 million.
As part of the improvement activity, the foundation worked to relocate the Delcol plant, which produces oils, to an alternative location, as well as to clean the land.
