The Troyes Museum of Modern Art reopens its doors after four years of work. “My simple ambition is for the visitor to understand that a collection is made with the heart,” says Pierre Lévy, the head of the Lacoste textile empire of which the Lévvy family is a part, in an interview with the French magazine L’Orientation. The Carnegie Hall Concert is a celebration of the life and music of the late jazz legend John Col Trane. It will be performed by his widow Alice, accompanied by renowned saxophonists, Archie Shepp and Pharoah Sanders, but also Indian musicians, as well as the Coltranes' friends and family. The concert will take place at the Carnegie Hall in New York on April 16.
