Ramos' body has not been located until now, although an intense (but unsuccessful) search was carried out in 2021 in the north of the island. The person under investigation remains on provisional release, but will have to appear in court in the coming days for the accusation to be finalized. The two had been in a relationship for 14 years and separated three months before the disappearance.
