Ariel Omar Pérez (38) turned himself in at dawn this Sunday and was detained. He had been on the run for three days and after receiving messages in which he admitted to the crime.
The femicide had a history of gender violence and had recently been imprisoned for a conviction after attacking another woman. He is accused of murder doubly aggravated by the bond, to the detriment of his ex-partner, Yanina PÉrez de la Vega (42), which carries a sentence of life imprisonment.
