The man who lived 72 years lying in an iron machine started Tiktok and gives a rare glimpse into his life - voila! health. Paul Alexander contracted polio when an outbreak swept through his hometown of Dallas, Texas.

Alexander was one of those unfortunate few who, except for an illness, was unable to move his body from the neck down. The iron lung did not prevent him from living a "normal" life. He was recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the person who spent the longest period of his life in this machine.
