Rodrigo Abd is the only Argentine to have won two Pulitzer Prizes. He was awarded for his work covering the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The photographer, a fan of Banfield, took his first steps in journalism in La Razón and La Nación. Since 2003 he has worked as a photographer for the international news agency AP (The Associated Press) covering armed conflicts, political processes and also portraying, from his place, the most marginalized sectors of developing countries. In 10 days he will return to Afghanistan with a wooden camera.
