The Palace, by Roman Polanski, announced in French cinemas in May. Presented at the Mostra in September, this sketch comedy received a cold reception from critics.
The director is called to appear in 2025 in California during a civil trial for rape of a minor in 1973. The Palace, filmed in Gstaad in Switzerland in spring 2022, is intended to be a sketch comedy in a luxury hotel, on New Year's Eve 2000. The cast includes Fanny Ardant, John Cleese or Mickey Rourke, but no popular star.
