The Pope returned to the Vatican after the lightning visit to Gemelli on the Tiber Island. With him are his trusted personal nurse Massimiliano Strappetti and some gendarmes.
This morning the Pontiff went to the Paul VI Hall for the general audience after the mild flu that had forced him to slow down his commitments in recent days. He entered the Nervi Hall in a wheelchair accompanied by an assistant. Even in the audience with the Armenians he had not read the prepared text but had entrusted it to his collaborator.
