Jorge Oscar Zárate made headlines in Clarín when he received his diploma from the UBA. On January 18, 1964, he became news after graduating as a doctor in record time.

His love for medicine and his desire to continue learning led him to study for a doctorate. This January 4th he celebrated his 60th birthday and on March 27th he celebrates his 80th birthday. He is an adjunct professor of Ophthalmology at the Maimónides University and a senior consulting professor at the Department of Pathology.
