The Carré d'Art, designed as a "small Beaubourg palace", is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Designed by Norman Foster, this glass cube blows out its thirty candles by offering until December a wide selection of its collection.

The place - municipal property - has been designed as "a small Palais BeaUBourg", as it wants to be the youngest of the Centre Pompidou in the region. It hopes, in September, to be inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
