The waiting period to convert your driving license from an automatic transmission to a manual transmission is now eliminated. Road Safety explained that it made this decision due to the increasing number of young drivers who initially choose not to convert.
The training to learn to drive a vehicle with a manual gearbox is divided into two parts. A theoretical course to understand how a gearbox works and a practical course consisting of 5 hours of driving followed by 2 hours on a simulator. Last year, 28% of automatic driving license holders followed this training to convert their license.
