Former Boca player Sebastián Villa is accused of aggravated sexual abuse. The victim, Tamara Doldán, now lives abroad.

The judge and the prosecutor opposed it and have now asked for his recusal. If so, it is likely that the case will go to trial, says the victim's lawyer. "It does not have to be a taboo subject, if the agreement is monetary, it can be a restorative answer," says the lawyer, Roberto Castillo. "An answer to the damage suffered must be a real solution to the real damage suffered," says Castillo, who is also the lawyer for the victim, Doldán, in a hearing held in the Lomas de Zamora Courts. "The victim's testimony is essential to support the accusation, so thinking about a trial without her testimony is – to say the least – difficult," adds the lawyer. The start of the trial was scheduled for Monday, April 1, but was interrupted by this request for recusal, he adds.
