The national government and the teaching unions did not reach an agreement this Tuesday in a meeting agreed to discuss the joint agreement. The Government proposed raising the salary floor to 310,000 pesos.

"The proposal is far below expectations," warned Sonia Alesso, general secretary of Ctera. The discussion went to an intermission room for Tuesday the 12th at 11 in the morning. Unlike last Tuesday, this time the Government did come with a specific salary offer, but it was "well below the expectations" of the unions.
