A study that examined the consequences of the war among families with children with disabilities found: a drop in the children's participation in activities, a steep drop in parents' ability to work. Their children expressed worry, anxiety and stress since the events of October 7 and the outbreak of the Gaza war, the study found.

The military activity increased the outbursts of anger of the children with disability, according to the study. The parents also experience the October events and their children's reaction to the situation in a way that makes their daily functioning difficult.
