The Herzliya seafront plan has been finally approved – and will change the coastal strip from one of the busiest in the country. The plan divides the beach into 3 different segments: conservation, moderate development and intensive development.
It includes the construction of a new and continuous promenade along the beach with connections to the city and future development areas. In addition, the plan proposes: rehabilitation and expansion of the beaches through a system of breakwaters, construction and development for tourism, sports, recreation and leisure along the coast.
