Three children and their mother killed in a fire in Bologna. A 32-year-old woman of Romanian origin also died while being transported to hospital.
The dead children appear to be twins aged approximately two years and a six- year-old brother. A woman, probably the mother, was taken to the Maggiore hospital in serious condition. The fire broke out in an apartment in via Bertocchi, on the outskirts of the city, where the firefighters, 118 with medical vehicles and ambulances and the police intervened.
