Universal Music Group breaks off negotiations with Chinese social network TikTok. Taylor Swift and Rosalía's songs will no longer be available to users.
UMG says TikTok is trying to build a business based on music without paying fairly for that music. TikTok denounces UMG's "falsehood" and says it has reached agreements with other record companies, such as Sony and Warner.. The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Elton John, U2 and Adele are just some of the groups and artists in the catalog managed by this music giant.
