Lisa Kanarek adopted her neighbor's husky after the death of her previous owner. Lisa and her husband took care of the dog, Gaia, while Sandra was in the hospital.
The dog became a part of Lisa's life, and she now walks Gaia twice a day. "I wish she could live with you, but we may be moving and the farm is too small for her,” Lisa said. “We’re happy to adopt her. Less than 10 minutes later, she asked me a question that I wasn’t expecting.”
