Treasury launches 15-year syndicated BTP, demand for 76 billion. The bond's yield was set at 11 basis points on the BTP rate on 1 March 2038, against initial indications of a yield of around 13 basis points.

The new BTP will have a size of 10 billion and will expire on 1 October 2039. The placement was handled by a syndicate of banks made up of Barclays, BNP Paribas, Citibank, Intesa Sanpaolo (IMI Cib) and Morgan Stanley.
