“Yannick” arrives somewhat by surprise during the summer of 2023 in cinemas, and shakes up the box office, with more than 400,000 admissions. The story? That of Yannick (Raphaël Quenard), a night watchman living in Melun who installed an RTT and braved public transport to get to the theater.

But the play that plays out before his eyes, and in which poor actors played by Pio Marmaï, Blanche Gardin and Sébastien Chassagne clumsily snort, bores him to the point that after a while, he can't stand it more.
