Carabinieri of Prato hypothesize that the killing occurred for reasons linked to economic relations between the victim and his killers. The two Pakistanis collaborated with the victim in the purchase and sale of the clothes from the ready-to-wear stores inPrato. They were arrested by the police on charges of being the perpetrators of the murder in Seano (Prato) on the evening of 9 February.
