Unusual discovery in Formosa: five monkeys were found under the seat of a truck. The animals were locked in two boxes.
They came from Paraguay and their destination was the City of Buenos Aires. The couple who transported them was released, but subject to the development of the case. Federal Court No. 1 and the Federal Prosecutor's Office of Formosa intervened in the case and ordered the seizure of the vehicle and that those involved be released subject to a case. The monkeys were rescued and sent to be examined by specialists from the “Guaycolec” Wild Animal Reserve.
