The Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore collapsed during the night following a collision with a Singapore-flagged cargo ship. The ship, flying the Singapore flag, caught fire and sank.

At least seven vehicles crashed. Save the cargo crew. A large slick of diesel fuel was reported in the Baltimore River. The cause of the collision has yet to be determined and the owners are cooperating with authorities, according to a statement to the New York Times. All roads to Baltimore were closed. The risk for those who fell into the water and survived is hypothermia.
