Patrick Chila and Jean-Philippe Gatien are the last French people to have won an Olympics medal in table tennis, 24 years ago in Sydney. The Lebruns started ping-pong at the ages of 4 and 3 respectively. Their uncle Christophe Legoût was considered one of the best French table tennis players.
