Renato Sorriso is Brazil's most famous street sweeper. For over 25 years, he has been dancing while cleaning the parade floor.
He has traveled the globe, from stage to stage. He met the greatest, Maradona and Pelé in the lead, and his hip swing even took him to the Olympic Games. Now aged 59, Renato does not intend to retire any time soon. He regularly puts down his broom, interrupted by passers-by wanting to take a photo with the “gari” star.
