More than 500 Disneyland Paris employees went on strike on May 23 to demand a €200 pay rise and payment. The strikers are demanding an increase of 200 euros per month, the double payment of Sunday worked but also "the improvement of working conditions" The majority union, the CFDT, had for its part obtained an anticipation of the mandatory annual negotiation (NAO) from October to the end of August.

Disneyland Paris declined to comment on the strike. The strike was called by the CGT, which supports the movement.
