Sign language interpretation of songs on TikTok is becoming more widespread. But several videos use wrong signs.Improper hand placement or a certain movement can completely distort the translation by creating an incomprehensible sign or completely changing the meaning of a word.
One example cited is that of content creator Scott Berends, 1 million followers on Tik Tok, who signed the word "trouble" with another movement that means... "awesome". On the social network, several interpreters in American Sign Language or deaf and hard of hearing people have pointed out this phenomenon.
