This was announced by the President of the EU Commission Ursula von derLeyen at a press conference in Kiev, explaining that, without affecting the single market, Brussels is going to extend solidarity lanes for a year. "In March there will be the first tranche of payments, worth 4. 5 billion", of the 50 billion fund approved by the EU for assistance to Ukraine.
