Victor Sharrah, 58, suffers from prosopometamorphopsia (PMO), a rare visual disorder. PMO affects around ten people around the world.

Symptoms concern shape, size, color and even the position of facial features. Patients with PMO are in fact wrongly diagnosed as suffering from schizophrenia by psychiatrists and receive antipsychotics, says author of a study in the Lancet journal, a journal of the British Medical Journal. The study sheds light on a little-known and poorly diagnosed disorder.
