The University Train was created jointly by the state company Trenes Argentinos and the National University of La Plata. The journey takes half an hour and with a single car.
The train provides a service for community purposes that brings together students, neighbors and tourists. The final project foresees an extension that final station to the Gambier railway workshops. This complete route will have three intermediate stops near the Cemetery at the 66th and 60th avenues and near the Diagonal 80 station.
