Small abrasive particles can damage and scratch the surface. Heat-sensitive dishwashing detergents can burn in and cause irreparable discoloration. Glass cleaner, crushed dishwasher tablets or household remedies such as lemon juice and baking soda are also suitable for cleaning. Be particularly careful with sugar, aluminum and plastic. Some leftover food, plastic and aluminum foil can burn into glass ceramic.
