Study conducted by Irish doctors proved that Monday was the day of the week when the risk of having a heart attack was the highest. Sunday is the second most risky day, according to the findings presented at the British Cardiovascular Society (BCS) conference in Manchester.

"Significant dietary differences, consumption of alcoholic beverages and lack of sleep" are the first factors explaining this increase in heart attacks at the beginning of theweek. "The change of pace is the straw that breaks the camel's back," says Dr. Frédéric Saldmann of the Hospitals of Paris.
