With NextGenEu, EU GDP will grow by 1.4% more in 2026, says EU Commission. In 2022 the estimated additional growth was 0.4%, compared to the 1.9% expected in 2020.
The figure does not include the expected stimulus of reforms, which takes place in the long term and which the Commission expects it to have a "significant impact" "To date, almost 225 billion euros have been disbursed to support EU economies," says EU Commissioner for Economy Paolo Gentiloni.
