José Andres founded 'World Central Kitchen' after the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. Since then his mission has been to cook for those in need: in the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Zambia, Peru, Cuba, Uganda, Bahamas, Cambodia, Ukraine and also in the USA.
In 2015 Andres gave up the prestigious kitchens of the Trump International Hotel in Washington. In March Wck was already present with various kitchens on the border with Poland for the distribution of food to refugees who left the conflict behind.
