15 years after the tragedy, L'Aquila is preparing to commemorate and honor the 309 victims. The route of the procession will wind along Via XX Settembre starting from 9.30pm.
This year, due to the work underway on Piazza Duomo, the beam of light in memory of the victims will be lit from Palazzo Margherita. The Flower of Memory, the brooch depicting the saffron flower, is available free of charge in tobacconists participating in the Fit circuit.
