Young people aged 8-16 are online 1 to 3 hours a day - Last hour. 94% of children between the ages of 8 and 16 use a smartphone.
Seven out of ten children (half between 8 and 10 years old) regularly use social media and streaming platforms. Four out of 10 interviewees describe negative experiences. "Digital environments are a fundamental resource for younger generations. They are complex worlds, in relation to which digital natives find themselves having to develop skills of use," says Mariagrazia Fanchi, Director of the High School in Media, Communication and Entertainment.
