Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived at Palazzo Chigi for a meeting with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. On the door of the Presidency of the Council, according to the protocol, the flag of the European Union is waving, in the centre the Italian tricolour and then that of Ukraine.
Joint statements to the press are planned after the working lunch. The meeting will be an opportunity to reiterate Italy's firm support for Ukraine at 360 degrees, its territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence.
