President of France, Emmanuel Macron, is on a trip to France. He is visiting the country to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Napoleon III.

The trip is part of a series of events marking the centenary of the French Revolution, which took place in 1788. It is the first time the French president has been to France since the Second World War, when the country was at the height of its power. The visit will also include a visit to the French Museum of Natural History in Paris, which was founded by Napoleon in 1799.
